I will give you a hard copy of the worksheet to write on so you do not have to submit answers via Google docs. However, your group is responsible for sharing 3 to 5 GOOGLE SLIDES with me at [email protected] I will link all the slides together for our classroom research project. We will discuss the case in class. Be prepared!! Your group will be the "experts" on your section and will lead the discussion. :)

Burke and Hare iBookWilliam Burke and William Hare along with Helen McDougal, were accused of killing at least 16 people over the course of a year in order to sell their "victims" to a well known Edinburgh anatomical lecturer, Dr. Knox. The criminal investigation and trial raised disturbing questions concerning the common practice of "grave robbers" or "resurrectionists". Their practices raised public awareness of the need for bodies for medical research and led to the passing of the Anatomy Act of 1832. |
